A suspected drunk driver in Canada who reached 105mph before two stingers were used to stop him turned out to be a 12-year-old boy, it has been reported.
The suspect was spotted near the town of Ponoka at 1am and police pursued him for around 30 miles as he swerved in and out of lanes, refusing to stop.
Shocked officers found the 12-year-old behind the wheel when they finally forced him to stop.
He was alone and arrested without incident.
The youngster managed to collect an array of tickets including dangerous driving, flight from police, driving without a licence, taking a vehicle without consent and driving without insurance.
